Lamb from our farms provided the show piece main course at the London G-20 Summit 2009. The Welsh hill farm lamb served with simple flat bread and the strong-flavoured English herb and wild garlic main course was devised by renowned chef Jamie Oliver.
Daphne - NFU Welsh Woman Farmer of the Year
Daphne Tilley awarded NFU Cymru (Wales)/Natwest Woman Farmer of the December 2009. Daphne, who is passionate about promoting Welsh farming produce, spotted a direct to market opportunity for lamb from family run farms in North Wales to London restaurants. The passion for Wales and the quality of the produce it did not take long to convince many of the capital's finest chefs that our farm lamb needed to be on their menus.
